I decided to try and get an instinctual reaction out of the viewer in my new ice rink video. I'm testing if realistic hockey puck sounds and a puck flying at the viewer's eye will make them flinch. I also thought it would be a good thing to expand my load time to 10 seconds for iPhone users that don't have controllers. If I had more audio resources, I would have used stereoscopic sound to have a greater chance of a flinch reaction.
Enjoy!
So far I have tested it with three people and gotten different reactions. One person physically flinched, one person closed their eyes, and 1 did nothing when the puck flew at them. After getting feedback from those people, I need to establish what is going on sooner and try to render the video at 60 frames per second, so the puck is more clearly flying at eye level.
